CommonMark plug-in for WordPress

WordPress is an open source web publishing platform. According to WordPress.org,
WordPress is built on PHP and MySQL, and licensed under the GPLv2. It is also the platform of choice for over 30% of all sites across the web.
WordPress.com offers a range of services and packages to get started, but organizations and individuals can also host WordPress sites locally.

CommonMark plug-in for WordPress

According to the author of the wp-commonmark plug-in,
WP CommonMark is a plugin for WordPress that enables CommonMark: a strongly specified, highly compatible implementation of Markdown, inside of your WordPress installation.

Using StackEdit to publish CommonMark to Blogspot

StackEdit

StackEdit is a simple text editor that displays formatted text in real time as you write using CommonMark or another compatible variant of MarkDown.

Connect to Blogger

Link the StackEdit web application to your Blogger site using your Google credentials. Open the sidebar menu, and click the Blogger item. Enter your Blogger (Google) account information and confirm that you are granting the web application permission to manage your Blogger account.

Publish to Blogger

Click the Explorer icon, then the New File icon. Write your blog entry using CommonMark, import a CommonMark File using the Sidebar menu + Import from disk, or paste the contents of a Markdown file into the editing window.
Click the Sidebar icon, then click Publish. Click Publish to Blogger. Type the address of the Blog to publish to.

Review Google account access

To review or cancel StackEdit access to your Google blogger account, browse to the Apps with access to your account page on the Google Sign-in & security page.

Convert a presentation to an ePub book

Add notes


  • Start with an odp or pptx presentation.
  • Click Show notes.
  • Once you open a presentation, add notes using the CommonMark format.
Never heard of CommonMark? No problem. You can learn almost everything you need to know in less than ten minutes.

Share Project


  • Click Share project.
  • Choose the export format

Save as an ePub book


  • Choose a location.
  • Choose a file name.
  • Click OK.

Tell a little about the book


  • Choose a category.
  • Enter a brief description with one or two sentences.

Click OK to see the book


  • It takes a few moments to compile an ePub book.
  • Do not work on other documents while the extension compiles the book.
  • If your computer uses a recognized ePub reader program, a dialogue tells you when the book is ready to read or share.
  • Books for Amazon need additional processing using Amazon's Kindlegen program.

Adobe Digital Editions


  • MacOS and Windows 10 include book viewers.
  • Adobe Digital Editions is a no-cost cross-platform ePub and PDF viewer.
  • Adobe Digital Editions includes accessibility features that platform specific book browsers might not.

iBooks


  • iBooks makes it possible to share books between compatible Apple brand devices.
  • The program includes a book store.

Windows 10 Edge


  • Windows Edge includes accessibility features like text to speech and playing synchronised audio.
  • You might need to install voices if you create documents that use different languages.
  • For French - Canada you need French - France resources in addition to French - Canada voices for text to speech.
